Downhole Products utilize the latest software to analyze and anticipate torque & drag problems.
TADPRO® - Torque and drag.
Torque and drag problems are very common during drilling, completion, and workover operations. Excessive torque and drag in the borehole will result buckling, failure of pipe or operations.
- 3D well path visualization.
- Import survey from text (ASCII) file or PDF file.
- Well path tortuosity.
- Torque/drag reduction tool and centralizer effects.
- Sensitivity analysis on friction factors.
- Casing flotation.
- Torque and drag (Hook load, surface torque) for:
- Rotation on / off bottom.
- Drilling.
- Back reaming.
- Slide drilling.
- Trip in / out.
- Casing running.
- Buckling criteria.
- Friction factor calibration.

We also utilize the latest software to calculate centralizer placement, casing standoff and torque and drag for ERD or deviated wellbore.
CentraDesign - Centralizer placement.
CentraDesign calculates the centralizer placement, casing standoff and torque and drag for ERD or deviated wellbore. It decides the minimum number of centralizers and determines their optimum placement. User can flexibly combine "Specify spacing" and "Specify standoff" modes for different sections of casing/liner using either bow spring and/or rigid centralizers.
- 3D well path visualization.
- Casing flotation and air section length optimization.
- Torque and drag calculations.
- Casing deflection and centralizer compression.
- Latest casing bending models.
- Constant spacing, minimum stand-off or optimum designs.
- For each pipe, user can specify:
- No centralizer.
- Constant spacing design.
- Minimum stand-off design.
- Optimum placement
- Combination of spring-bow and rigid centralizers.
- Extensive tubular and centralizer database included.
- Tripping animation with drag / torque profiles.
